High Demand for UK Care Homes Spark Launch of Greetland Retreat – Care Home Investment Providing – 13.06% NET Yield Aunnum

The past few years has seen an underlying uncertainty with regards to England’s care sector and with an increasing number of elderly people requiring accommodation, care home investment opportunities are on the increase in the UK.

Underlying issues like the rising life expectancy age have been highlighted in a July 2011 report from Commission on Funding of Care and Support (Dilnot).

In this report it was suggested that the legislation in place cannot sustain the growing ageing population for the future. With the current system under review, property developers are now looking to capitalise on the increasing demand for residential care home investments.

There are many areas in the UK with problems in the capacity to cater for the growing number of elderly people who require specialist accommodation. Particular concern is West Yorkshire as analysis of the area’s population produced by BNP Paribas in January 2010 indicates that within a 10-mile radius of Calderdale, there are around 42,581 persons who are over 65 years old, equal to 15.2% of the population.

Older persons over the age of 75 make up 7.3% of the total population and 85 years and over are 5,697. The number of nursing home beds within a 5-mile radius reflects only one bed for every 4.5 people older than 85 making Calderdale the place for care home investment developments.

This has led investment experts Experience International to launch Greetland Retreat, a UK care home investment opportunity that has been packaged for private investors to capitalise on this lucrative market and offers 13.06% Net yields p.a. for their clients.

Greetland Retreat is a new 3,000 sqm 65 bed care home based in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. The development is perfect for investors looking for a buy to let investment in the UK as it features an array of state of the art facilities and has been designed to the highest of standards to cater for the elderly.
